drug development, licensing, commercial transactions, and agreements. He currently serves on the board of directors at BioCom Purchasing Group, as well as other private company boards. Polin’s legal expertise includes securities, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and other financing transactions. Most recently, he served as chief administration officer and general counsel for HUYA Bioscience International, LLC.
Before that, he was a partner in the San Diego office of international law firm Jones Day, concentrating on corporate and securities law with a special focus on representing startup and public technology companies. Throughout his career, Polin has managed a broad range of major business transactions, including private placements and public offerings, joint ventures and strategic collaborations, as well as commercial transactions, such as bank credit lines and off-balance sheet financings. Polin is an active member of the State Bar of California. He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and earned his bachelor’s degree from American University, summa cum laude.
